Tag Rugby Triangular v Long Marton & Kirkby Stephen

Last Wednesday we welcomed two local schools for a fantastic afternoon of tag rugby. With U9 and U11 teams in attendance, there was something for all ages. The standard of rugby played was very impressive; a real credit to all the schools involved.

Both Hunter Hall U11 A & B teams performed well and served up a feast of tries against some impressive defences. Zach and Katie were a constant threat on the ball in the B team, while Max F’s blistering pace was simply a delight to behold. The U9s were in dominant mood and won both their games with style. Fergal, Piers, Casey & Matthew were there to support the younger members of the team and Zara impressed her peers with some impressive running.

Following an hour and a half of tag rugby, all the schools headed to the hall for a well-earned bacon butty and piece of cake. The school hall was buzzing; children making new friends and discussing the day’s action. Well done to all the children involved. Mr A Hetherington
