Pre-School news this week 29.06.18

​This week we have been enjoying the glorious weather. The children have enjoyed lots of water play in the morning sunshine; we have all been very careful to protect ourselves in the heat by making sure we wear hats and sun cream, staying in the shade and very importantly drinking lots of water.

Upper Eden Ladies, Tug of War

Last Friday Miss Graham and Miss Westgarth headed down to Oxford as part of the Upper Eden Ladies tug of war team, to compete in their first national tug of war championship.

Hunter Hall Year 5 & Year 6 athletics afternoon

Last Wednesday afternoon we welcomed Austin Friars pupils to our now stunning sports field (thanks to all those now aching and well-tanned grass cutters). The aim of the afternoon was to provide our children with an opportunity to put into practice all their new learning obtained during our PE lessons. Pupils took part in a range of track and field events; culminating in some highly competitive relays.
