I have been Head Teacher at Hunter Hall School since September 2013. I studied B.Ed (Honours) MA in Education with my specialist subject area in Geography.
I’ve worked in all types of schools, both state and independent, and have clocked up 33 years teaching experience to date. I am still passionate about the job I do, and the difference we as educators can make to young lives. Education is the key to success.
I love everything about Hunter Hall – the children are a joy to work with, the parents are supportive, interested and caring, and the staff are passionate about what they teach and how they teach it. The relationships between children, parents, governors and staff is what makes the school work so well. It is a joy to come to school each day in such beautiful surroundings and in such a unique working environment.
One thing that many people don’t know about me is that I was once approached to sing on Tyne Tees television! I can also juggle and whistle very loudly (though not at the same time!
