Paul assumed headship of Hunter Hall in September 2023.
After completing his PGCE at Homerton College, Cambridge, Paul started his teaching career at an international school in Zambia. On returning to the UK, he took up a position at South Lee School, an independent day school in Bury St Edmunds. During his time at South Lee, Paul completed a Masters in Education at the University of Cambridge, and he also began working with a number of other organisations, including the Royal Institution, IAPS and ISEB. Paul was Maths Subject Adviser for IAPS for three years, during which time he organised a number of popular and oversubscribed courses; he also delivered a seminar on maths mastery for over eighty prep school heads at the 2019 IAPS Annual conference.
Paul’s work with ISEB includes leading the 11+ Maths Setting Team and writing the 13+ Mental Arithmetic Papers. In January 2018, Paul joined Vinehall School as Assistant Head Academic and was subsequently promoted to Deputy Head. In his time at Vinehall, he has driven academic innovation, ensuring that Vinehall provides a 21st century education that equips pupils with the knowledge and skills to flourish at senior school and beyond.
