Opening hours, sessions and fees

At Nutkins Nursery, you can join us all year round or just join us in the school holidays. There are no minimum number of sessions and we aim to be flexible wherever possible (depending on places available). The Nursery is open on weekdays from 8.15am to 5.30pm.

 

Term time sessions

Normal sessions are usually from 8.15am to 12 noon and then 1.00pm until 4.30pm with extended care available until 5.30pm. A cooked lunch can be added to the morning/afternoon session and currently part sessions can be arranged subject to availability. Parents are invoiced termly at £4.50 per hour (discounts for full days and full weeks). Any pre-booked sessions that your child is unable to attend due to illness, appointments etc. are charged for, however, you may take additional sessions in lieu at a later date. We do not charge a retention fee for family holidays.

 

Holiday sessions

Weekly Rate: £168.00

Full Day 8.15 am to 5.30 pm £37.50

Short Day 8.30 am to 3.30 pm £31.50

Morning Session 8.15 am to 12 noon £17.00

Afternoon Session 1.00 pm to 5.30 pm £20.00

 

During holidays, sessions must be booked and paid for in full by the end of the previous week.  Please bring a packed lunch and a healthy snack. Drinks will be provided.

Unfortunately, part sessions are not available.

 

 

Early Years Free Entitlement Grant 

There is a Nursery pupil census at the beginning of each term for children eligible for the grant. It is advisable to fix your child’s sessions before this date to ensure that no entitlement is lost. The government’s Free Early Learning Scheme (and Childcare Voucher Scheme, for participating employers) operates at Nutkins Nursery. We are also registered to accept various other childcare vouchers.
