I am pleased that you have chosen to have a look at our new website, and hope that your browsing through these pages will encourage you to visit the school. It is by joining us for a few hours that you will meet the staff and children, and pick up very special “feel” of Hunter Hall that is impossible to convey either in text or images.
The emphasis is on providing children with a range of skills to help them to recognise that they have the ability (and courage) to think. In addition, perseverance and co-operation are especially valued, creating a warm, friendly and almost tangible sense of community within the school.
In essence, Hunter Hall is a non-selective, 3 to 11 years, co-educational school. Our attached Nursery accepts any child who has reached their third birthday, places permitting. There is no minimum number of sessions and care is available from 8.15am to 5.30pm. However, there is much more to the school than those simple facts: principles and values are very important here, and courtesy, behaviour, appearance and respect remain important.
Children flourish at Hunter Hall, in an atmosphere of fairness and kindness; adults and children are considerate of each other and of the very special premises and environment.
Our aim is to build confidence in children, preparing them for a rapidly-changing world. They leave Hunter Hall with terrific memories, and ready to prosper in the next stage of their education - wherever they decide to go.
