Independent Schools Inspectorate
ISI School Inspection Report 10-14th October 2005
Hunter Hall School pupils ‘achieve high standards throughout the school, have a positive attitude to their work and their behaviour is excellent’ according to independent school inspectors.
In October 2005 Inspectors spent a week at Hunter Hall School and their final report was welcomed by the whole school community. The inspectors highlighted a number of outstanding strengths of the school included in these are: the levels of academic achievement; the systems of pastoral care and individual development; the strength of the school community; the school’s leadership and the quality of the foundation stage assessment systems.
Whilst staff, pupils and parents should be extremely proud of this report, the foundation work that has brought us to this point is more important than the written document. We have looked at every aspect of school life and tried to improve upon what we were previously doing. The inspectors have also helped us to reflect upon areas in which we can improve. We are grateful to the inspectors for all of their comments and suggestions.

Incorporated Association of Preparatory Schools (IAPS)
The ISI inspection was the final stage in the process which has seen our Headmaster, Allan Short, become a member of IAPS. Hunter Hall is now formally accredited by the Independent Schools Council (ISC) and a member of IAPS. We are looking forward to the support and opportunities which working closely with other IAPS schools will bring.
