At Hunter Hall we have four houses; Badgers, Foxes, Hares and Squirrels.
Children earn house points throughout the year and every two
weeks during assembly the Headmaster reads out the current
positions of each house. The houses compete to win each terms house
points total with the overall yearly winners receiving a trophy at
our prize giving evening in July.
Children can earn a 1st Honours Certificate if they reach 100
house points, 2nd honours for 200 and 3rd honours for 300 house
points.
There is also a House Sports Trophy which the children
compete for throughout the year, with compettions taking place in
Football, Netball, Cricket, Rounders, Tag Rugby, Hockey and
Athletics.
Every 2 weeks there is also a House Challenge where one house
(the current holders of the challenge certificate) are challenged
by another house at the competition of their choice, which if they
succesfully win, will result in that house holding the
certificate.
