Results and Achievements

Hunter Hall Primary School, Penrith, has gained a fine reputation for the achievements of its children on the sports field, in the classroom and in cultural pursuits.

It is our firm belief that the children that leave Hunter Hall are excellent examples of all that is good about the independent school sector. Our children are happy, self-confident and keen to do well. They are articulate, well-mannered and enjoy school.

Academically, the 11 year-olds do very well. Results in examinations have been outstanding. The final destinations of those children that left at the end of Year 6 recently were:

In addition, SATs results are always well above national norms.

On the sports field, the school gains excellent results. Our teams perform outstandingly well against larger state and independent schools and there has been much local and even national success.
Culturally, all of our children participate in school activities, plays, concerts etc, and in the Carlisle Music and Drama festival.
